Strike Resistance is a defensive attribute, and affects a character’s ability to resist being struck with a critical hit from a physical attack. When a character resists a critical hit from a physical attack, that attack will instead inflict normal damage. The chance to resist critical hits increases based on the amount of Strike Resistance the character possesses.


Many classes can benefit from Strike Resistance, more so in PvP. Classes like Sorcerers and Spiritmasters, who tend to have fewer defenses against physical attacks, can benefit from Strike Resistance to reduce the chance of receiving a critical hit from classes like Rangers and Assassins.


A high Strike Resistance attribute is most important for classes that have fewer defenses against physical attacks, in particular when engaging in PvP combat. However, all classes can benefit from more Strike Resistance when struck by physical attacks.
