Steel Rake Lower Levels Walkthrough
Steel Rake Lower Levels Map
The No. 1 and No. 2 Cargo Holds
To reach the Steel Rake Lower Levels, find the Cargo Elevator to the Southwest of the Stern of Steel Rake, and click on the lever, then proceed forward to the No. 1 Cargo Hold.
Be careful of the Steel Rake Marines patrolling the No. 1 Cargo Hold. These monsters tend to aggro additional monsters if not pulled back from the middle of the room. On the other side of the No. 1 Cargo Hold is a door that leads to the Antique Storage.

Freed Genie |
In the Antique Storage, there is a chance that a rare Named Monster, the Freed Genie, will spawn.
The Freed Genie can be a difficult encounter as it is capable of dealing poison damage to the entire group. However, the damage can be mitigated by clicking the Genie’s Incense Burner, which is located in the middle of the room.
Be sure to exercise caution in this area as most of the monsters are in tight knit packs, including two Shulacks in Hide mode on the other side of the entrance to Antique Storage.
The Freed Genie will sometimes cast an area of effect fear, so it’s important to pull all of the packs in the room.
If no one in the group wishes to engage the Freed Genie, it is possible to sneak past it and proceed to the No. 2 Cargo Hold.

Sturdy Bubukin |
Proceed out of the Antique Storage the South and players will enter the No. 2 Cargo Hold. In the middle of the No. 2 Cargo Hold, Sturdy Bubukin patrols back and forth. Players will need to slay Sturdy Bubukin and loot the Menagerie Key to proceed to the next area.
Navigating the No. 2 Cargo Hold can be challenging, as several packs of monsters are scattered throughout this area. Players can minimize the time spent killing normal monsters by proceeding through the middle of the room.
Sturdy Bubukin is a strict "tank and spank" monster, just be wary of the group’s proximity to other monsters in the room, as it’s easy to pull an additional pack.
On the West side of the No. 2 Cargo Hold is a door which leads to the Menagerie.
Be sure the tank enters the Menagerie first, as two Shulacks in Hide mode wait on the other side of the door. Proceed through the Menagerie to the Prison Zone, where a number of Named Monsters are located.
The Prison Zone and The Brig
Take care to pull all of the patrolling monsters while moving forward through the Prison Zone. Once players reach the East side of the Prison Zone, they will encounter Timid Alakin.
Timid Alakin is a straight "tank and spank" encounter, just be careful to avoid the other monsters in the area while he is engaged. When slain, Timid Alakin will drop the Brig Key, which will open a door which leads to an optional Named Monster.

Warden Tantaka |
To the East of where Timid Alakin patrols the Prison Zone is the Warden’s Chamber, and Warden Tantaka, another Named Monster. Warden Tantaka is another "tank and spank" encounter, just don’t let the two Togs with him munch on the Cleric or healer. Slay Warden Tantaka for the Engine Room Key, which will unlock the door to the final area of the Steel Rake Lower Levels.
Players interested in earning some additional Abyss Points can break the Prison Doors on the cells in the Prison Zone and slay the prisoners of the opposing faction locked inside.
Once Timid Alakin has been defeated, players can proceed to The Brig. Inside The Brig is one of 6 Named Monsters, some of which have a chance to drop Heroic and Fabled loot.
Using the radar on the mini-map, players can narrow down which of the 6 Named Monsters has spawned inside The Brig.
There are also a couple of treasure chests in The Brig, so it can be worth it regardless of which monster has spawned!
If Special Delivery is level 1, it is Talking Qooqoo Koggio, which drops no loot.
If Special Delivery is level 44, it is the Competition Winning Kurin, Trainee Shoryuken, or Trainee Hadoken. Both of the Trainees have a chance to drop a Fabled material used in crafting, the Kurin drops no loot.
If Special Delivery is level 45, it is either RM-138cx or Monster Grengamam, which both have a chance to drop Heroic loot, and Fabled loot from Monster Grengamam.
Once done with The Brig, players can proceed to the Central Engine Room by heading to the Southwest corner of the Prison Zone.
The Central Engine Room and the Drana Generator Chamber

|
Technician Binukin |
The Central Engine Room houses a number of packs of normal monsters, as well as Technician Binukin, a Named Monster that holds the Power Chamber Key which grants access to the final boss of the Steel Rake Lower Levels, Engineer Lahulahu.
Technician Binukin is located in the Northeast corner of the Central Engine Room. Be careful with the packs of monsters leading to him; amidst the normal monsters are several Shulacks in Hide mode.
Once Technician Binukin has been slain, proceed down a corridor to the Southernmost point of the Central Engine Room, and open the door to the Drana Generator Chamber.
Engineer Lahulahu
Engineer Lahulahu can be a difficult encounter because of the Steam Nozzles located around the room. Once Lahulahu casts Valve Control (which he will do shortly after the encounter starts), a select number of Steam Nozzles located around the room will spew area of effect damage whenever Lahulahu uses Activate Steam Nozzle.
Wedging the group in a corner near one of the valve pillars will help mitigate some of the damage from the Steam Nozzles.

|
Engineer Lahulahu |
To avoid damage all together, the group will need to move around and only stand near the Steam Nozzles which haven’t been activated. Because of Lahulahu’s melee area of effect attacks and the damage on the tank, this is often impractical, and most groups opt for wedging themselves in a corner and ensuring the group is hit by a single Steam Nozzle at the most.
In addition to avoiding Steam Nozzles, it’s important that the tank keeps Lahulahu away from the group, as Lahulahu has a couple of attacks that can inflict area of effect damage to all targets in melee.
Throughout the encounter, Lahulahu will run back and forth to the valves to cast Valve Control. Provided the healer can keep the group and the tank alive, this encounter should end without too much trouble.

The Path to the Steel Rake Upper Levels
Once the Group has defeated Lahulahu, proceed through the door in the Southwest corner of the room to the Anchor Hangar. Here the group can click on the Pirate Ship Anchor to transport to the Steel Rake Upper Levels.
If the group wishes to return to the beginning, use the Hidden Escape Exit in the Southeast corner of the Drana Generator Chamber.
