Ampeis is located right along the path leading into the Daminu Forest.

Forest Protector Noah looks very much like a tree, and is a little further up the path through the forest.

3. Find and wake 2 Sleeping Elders with the flute.

The Sleeping Elders can be found snoozing at various intervals within the forest. Just right-click on one to begin playing.

5. Retrieve 6 Kobold Axes.

The axes can be found on the Dukaki Woodcutters and Dukaki Lumberjacks in the Deforested Area. You’ll need to retrieve 6 axes.

7. Converse again with Daminu.

You can find the great Daminu, flanked by a pair of other forest protectors, near the center of the forest.

8. Return to Mercenary Captain Kalion for your reward.
