Power Shards Power Shards Edit

Power Shards temporarily increase the effectiveness of your weapons. The amount of the increase depends on the quality of the shard. When activated, one power shard will be expended for each attack made with your weapon.

 

You can locate these items at general goods vendors as well

 as finding them on creatures within the world of Atreia.

Equipping Power Shards

Equipping Power Shards edit

In order to use power shards, they must be equipped in the slot provided for them on your character profile. This slot is located right next to the weapon slot at the top of the window. In the event you are able to dual-wield weapons, a second power shard slot is available for both hands. To equip power shards, access your character profile [P] and then drag the shards to the slot next to your equipped weapon.

 

If you have a secondary set of weapons equipped, when you switch to that set you will still have access to the power shards you have equipped without having to re-equip them.

 

 

You can also equip power shards by double-clicking or right-clicking them in your inventory.

Activating Power Shards

Once you have the power shards equipped, you will need to activate them in order for them to take effect. To do this, hit the [B] key. This will enable the shards and a small particle effect can be seen as they activate. You will also notice on your character sheet that the shards will have a sheen to them when they are enabled.

 

Being able to turn power shards on and off allows you to save them for tougher battles rather than using them on enemies that may be easier.

Middle Grade Golem20This stone seals the power of Aether and increases damage by 20 points.
Double click it to equip and press B key to activate or deactivate.

High Grade Golem30This stone seals the power of Aether and increases damage by 25 points.
Double click it to equip and press B key to activate or deactivate.

Quality Golem40This stone seals the power of Aether and increases damage by 30 points.
Double click it to equip and press B key to activate or deactivate.

Special Grade Golem50This stone seals the power of Aether and increases damage by 35 points.
Double click it to equip and press B key to activate or deactivate.
