Patching Aion –
We will regularly update Aion with new content, enhancements, and bug fixes through patches. Typically these will be done through a client patch which everyone will receive.
Aion Launch: Patch 1.5
Aion launched in the North American territory on September 22, 2009.
(2.0) Aion: Assault on Balaurea

Assault on Balaurea was Aion's first expansion, and introduced a great deal of new content as well as improvements. In Assault on Balaurea, Daevas explored Balaurea. With 2 new zones, Inggison and Gelkmaros and the raised the level cap of 55. There was plenty to do in this expansion.
(2.5) Aion: Empyrean Calling

Empyrean Calling was Aion's second major expansion. It introduced the Empyrean Crucible, new armor, and weapons. There were many smaller features that received an overhaul in 2.5; the UI, the world map, legion options, higher graphics settings, and much more.

Aion patch 2.6 introduced the new Solo Crucible Challenge, an extension of the Empyrean Crucible. As well as a new Auto Group feature, capable of auto-creating Groups for Instanced Dungeons! The major part was the major crafting overhaul that took place in this patch, adding new designs and making crafting even easier!

2.7 was known as the PvP update. It introduced the Crucible Coliseum, new PvP aormor and weapons, new PvP quests, and more! A few UI changes and the new Padmarashka's Cave instance were some of the only non-PvP related changes that occurred.
