Greetings New and Returning Daevas!
This may be your first time playing Aion or you may be returning to us after a long absence. A lot of new and exciting features have been added to our game over the past few months! We have put together a collection of some of our most recent features and FAQ to assist you as you explore Aion. Enjoy!
Character Creation: Whether you like to modify the most minuscule details of your Character’s appearance, or really don’t mind using a default character, Aion has it covered. You will notice a myriad of options to choose from, both default, random and custom.
Combat: Battle within Aion is continual, and will pit you and your comrades against various monsters and humanoids, as well as other Daevas. Choosing how to overcome an opponent can depend on the class you have chosen when exploring the world alone, or the makeup of the group you’ve just joined
Flight: An introduction to using those new wings for the recently Ascended!
Grouping: Want to lead a group into battle? Or perhaps you have a few groups and need that Pièce de résistance -- the final member in the Alliance.
Key Commands, Chat Commands, and Emotes: This link will provide you with the basics for key mapping and getting active in the Aion Chat System!

Daily Quests: Daily Quests are quests that you receive once per day depending on which Organization you belong to. The tokens from these quests can be saved and exchanged with a Reward Steward for various items.
Armsfusion Guide: The main point of this system, also referred to as Fusion, is to create a more powerful weapon by fusing two-handed weapons together. Greatswords, Polearms, Staffs, Bows, Tomes, and Orbs fall in to this category.
Expert Gathering Quests: It is now possible to become an Expert in the gathering professions, which have also received clever new names.
Supplements: Supplements are a new consumable introduced in 1.9 that increase the success rate of Enchanting or Socketing manastones to an item.
2.0 Feature Guide - Assault on Balaurea: Assault on Balaurea is Aion’s first expansion, and introduced a great deal of new content as well as improvements to existing content.
2.1 Feature Guide: This update, called the Golden Daeva update in Korea, drastically increased item drop rates within Aion. Named Monsters in the open world who had a chance to drop Fabled and Eternal items now drop them much more frequently. In addition, world drops (such as equipment and consumable items) from normal monsters have also been increased.

I have just logged into the game and my characters appear to be missing!
We merged our servers many months ago. If you have not logged on since before the merge your characters will not appear as numerical counts on the server selection screen. However if you select a server and go into the character selection screen, you can find your characters and the numerical count will update from this point forward.
I’ve just logged in and there are strange letters at the end of my character name or legion name. Why is this?
Several months ago we performed server merges. During this process a two letter suffix was added to the end of every character name and any legion name that existed on the merged servers. The suffix represents the server tag from your original server. You may keep it or change your name with the free name change ticket included in your inventory.
How can I get rid of this suffix on the end of my name?
※For your character:
A name change ticket has been placed in your characters inventory. You can use this to change your name to a new one, if you want.
※For your Legion:
A legion rename ticket has been placed in the inventory of your legions Brigade General. They can then use this ticket to rename the legion.
Why is my name something like 12s235346?
In very rare cases, some character names have been changed to a name like the one mentioned above due to a name conflict during the server merge. Please use the character rename ticket in your inventory to change your name.
I have a lot of names on my friend list that I’ve never seen before. Who are they?
A lot of players have used the name change tickets to change their names. If you are not sure who the character on your friend list is, you can use our “Shadow Court Archives” to track your friends.
I don’t recall having a character on this server.
You can find a list of the servers that were merged and their destination names here.
I managed to login, but now the client is asking for a PIN. What is this?
The Character PIN System is an extra layer of protection for your account. If you register your PIN and find you have forgotten it or wish to change it, you can do so by verify account ownership through the NCsoft Master Account page. We also have a useful guide to help you in establishing and using the Character PIN system.
