Master Carved Series Master Carved Series Edit

The Master Carved series of armor, weapons, and accessories are among the first crafted Eternal grade items introduced in Aion. Masters of Tailoring, Handicrafting, Armorsmithing, Weaponsmithing, Alchemy, and even Cooking can craft Master Carved items appropriate for their profession. 

 

Master Carved items are often crafted from the Noble form of another crafted item of the same type. However, unlike most other crafted items, Master Carved items cannot be traded.


The patterns needed to craft Master Carved items can be purchased from NPCs that appear at random in Gelkmaros and Inggison.

   Master Carved Drenium Dagger

   Master Carved Darkwater Orb

   Master Carved Nanyu Bow

Weaponsmithing, Alchemy, and Handicrafting Masters can craft Eternal grade Master Carved weapons. These weapons require a Fabled grade “Noble” weapon to craft, and once crafted, become untradeable.

Handicrafting, Armorsmithing, and Tailoring Masters can craft Eternal grade Master Carved accessories. These include helms, belts, necklaces, rings, and earrings.

Purchasing Master Carved Patterns

Master Carved patterns are purchased from NPCs, and will not drop from monsters.

 

The NPCs who sell the Master Carved patterns are Shugo peddlers. These Shugo will appear at random in Inggison and Gelkmaros. The locations where these peddlers appear are predetermined, however, the times at which the Shugo peddlers appear is random.

Chenshurunerk

A mysterious Shugo peddler who appears from time to time in Inggison. Chenshurunerk sells the extremely rare Master Carved patterns to Elyos players.

Kenshurunerk

A mysterious Shugo peddler who appears from time to time in Gelkmaros. Kenshurunerk sells the extremely rare Master Carved patterns to Asmodian players.

Master Carved Cooking

Even Cooking Masters can create a small selection of Master Carved items. While these Fabled grade items are inferior to the Eternal grade items created through other crafting professions, a handful of players will find them useful.


In addition, because of the lesser quality of these items, players can craft the Master Carved Cooking items from base materials, rather than a “Noble” version of another item created through Cooking (which don’t exist).
