While head gear helps to protect your character, it is not considered a type of Armor. These accessory pieces can be worn by any class at any time, providing you meet the level requirements. However, they do offer benefits based on the type of materials they are composed of. This means that a cloth piece of head gear will most likely benefit a Mage class, while a plate piece will be most useful to a Gladiator or Templar. Also, because of the various materials these items can be made from, there are recipes available for several of the crafting professions.

Description

Cloth Head Gear

These head gear pieces are generally focused on increasing the use of magic for Mage classes.

Leather Head Gear

These head gear pieces are generally focused on increasing the abilities of Scout classes and their evasion.

Chain Head Gear

These head gear pieces are generally focused on increasing the defense as well as the use of magic for Priest classes.

Plate Head Gear

These head gear pieces are generally focused on increasing the defense and attack of the Warrior classes.

Aether Gathering Hats

These hats allow you to see the location of aether vortexes.

Vitality Gathering Hats

These hats allow you to see the location of vitality extraction items such as plants, ores, and crystals.

Event Hats

Special hats that are found during events in Atreia.
