Grouping
You don’t have to go it alone. You can Group with other players to take on the challenges of the world. In order to Group with other players you must first invite them. There are several ways you can accomplish this. First, you can simply right-click on a player and choose the option "Invite to Group". You can also right-click on the Target Status Bar that appears when the player is targeted. You can Group with anyone that is a member of your race, and not currently a member of another Group. Group sizes are limited to six people, so for larger missions you may wish to work with multiple groups to form an Alliance.
Group Menu
To access the group menu,
right-click on a group member’s icon in the Group Window. You will be able to perform several actions: Invite, Leave Group, Ban from Group, Entrust Group Leader Author, Group Distribution, Distribution Settings, and Zoom in/out Group Window.
Invite/ Leave Group
Only the Group Leader can invite people to the group, but anyone is welcome to leave the group at any time.
Kick from Group/Entrust Leadership
It may be necessary to remove certain players from your group. Right-click on that player and select Kick From Group.
After you have created a group, you may have to leave before all of the fun is over. Instead of disbanding the group, you can Entrust Leadership to another player so they can change characteristics of the group, such as Distribution. If the Leader leaves the group due to a computer problem or disconnection, he will remain as leader for two minutes, allowing him to return. If the leader leaves the group, it will automatically fall to the next player in the group.
Group Distribution
This is a one-time distribution of Kinah that splits the amount you set amongst all of the members of the Group.
Distribution Settings
Distribution Settings affect how Groups claim their just rewards in battle. The Loot Rules define access to the loot of defeated enemies.
Free-for-All means whoever gets there first, lays claim to the loot.
Round-robin allows everyone to have a chance to claim some loot. Then there is the
Group Leader; only the Group Leader is allowed to claim the loot.
Now that the matter of "who" gets to loot first is sorted out, there comes the matter of what to do with the really good loot (rare items and above). Normal allows for whomever claims the fallen loot would be able to claim anything that was found. There are two ways that anything other than Normal Items are divided. They can be rolled for by selecting Roll Dice, which allows chance to decide who gets the item. You can also bid on them using Settle Account. In either case you can select the level of rarity at which you decide to roll or bid for the item.
Zoom in/out Group Window
As a matter of visual convenience, you can make the size of the group window larger or smaller on your UI.
Finding Group Members
Open your Social Window (V). From your Friends List or the Search tab, you can right-click and invite them to join the Group. You can also put out a clickable invite by pressing the Invite button at the bottom of your friends tab. This will add <Recruit Group> to the chat box message where you can activley seek out players for specific missions.
