Coliseums allow players of the same faction to battle each other in an enclosed environment without having to worry about resurrection penalties or other difficulties common in the Abyss. Coliseums are available in both Sanctum and Pandaemonium.

Sometimes Daevas need to settle their differences without consequence. It can be a friendly duel, a test of skill, a relief of frustration, pecking order, or a practice of group battle tactics.

Rules of the Coliseum

Rules of the Coliseum edit

Any player may enter the Coliseum grounds by talking to the Arena Master located just outside the Coliseum entrance. By clicking Take me to the Arena you will be instantly teleported to the Coliseum grounds.

All

- Spells (including summoned spirits) and other buffs cast before you enter the Coliseum also carry over once you teleport inside the Coliseum. Players may also use their wings within the Coliseum grounds.
- If you do not move or take any actions (like casting a spell) you will enjoy one minute of invisibility.
- There is no time limit as to how long you can stay in the Coliseum. Should you wish to leave, you can talk to the Arena Master inside the Coliseum grounds.

PVP

- As soon as you become visible you will be vulnerable to attack from all other players under the standard PvP rules.

Group PVP

- If you are in a group before you enter the Coliseum, you cannot attack other members of your group. This allows for team play within the Coliseum, where it would otherwise be a free-for-all.

Defeat

- Should you be defeated, you will be transported back to the Arena Master outside the Coliseum. Your current HP and MP will be reduced accordingly but you will not suffer any other de-buffs. You can choose to re-enter the Coliseum immediately if you so wish.

Victory

- If you win, you stay.
- There is no time limit as to how long you can stay in the Coliseum. Should you wish to leave, you can talk to the Arena Master inside the Coliseum grounds.

Spectators

Players can also choose to watch if they wish; the Coliseum grounds are ringed with public stands that can be accessed from the left or right of the Coliseum entrance (you don’t have to enter the Coliseum to spectate).
