2.6 introduces the Auto Group feature, which allows players to queue for Instanced Dungeons and form new Groups or join existing Groups through an automated system, much like the system for participating in the Dredgion.

To queue for an Auto Group, speak with the object or NPC that grants access to the Instanced Dungeon. Players can queue for up to three Instanced Dungeons at the same time. Once queued, the Auto Group system creates a Group utilizing other players in the same Instanced Dungeon queue. Once a Group has been created, players can teleport directly to the Instanced Dungeon.

Players utilizing the Auto Group system also receive Victory's Pledge, a buff which affects several attributes and helps the Group progress through the Instanced Dungeon.

Joining an Auto Group

Joining an Auto Group edit

There are two options for joining an Auto Group; New Group Entry and Quick Group Entry. The difference between these two options is as follows:

New Group Entry

Selecting this option creates a new Group from players in the queue for the Instanced Dungeon. Once complete, the Group starts at the beginning of a fresh Instanced Dungeon.

Quick Group Entry

Selecting this option places the player in an existing Group in an Instanced Dungeon in progress. Often the Quick Group Entry is a fastest way to get inside a dungeon, however, there are also time limits in place to prevent players from joining a Groups that have progressed too far. See below for more information.

Instanced Dungeon

Time Limit for Quick Group Entry
Fire Temple5 Minutes

Nochsana Training Camp

Upper Udas Temple

Lower Udas Temple

Empyrean Crucible

10 Minutes

Steel Rake

Dark Poeta

20 Minutes

To better explain the above, here is an example of a Quick Group Entry scenario:

"Player 1 applies for a Quick Group Entry for Steel Rake. Group 1 is inside Steel Rake, and has been inside for 15 minutes, Group 2 is inside Steel Rake, and has been inside for 25 minutes. Auto Group assigns Player 1 to Group 1 inside the Steel Rake. Because Group 2 has been inside the instance for more than 20 minutes, players selecting Quick Group Entry cannot be assigned to Group 2."

Each Instanced Dungeon has a minimum number of players, so it may be necessary to wait until there are enough players queued for an Auto Group. In addition, some instances require at least one member of the Group to be a specific class (ex. Cleric), which can also extend the wait time.

Victory's Pledge

Victory's Pledge edit

Groups created with the Auto Group system will receive the Victory's Pledge buff, affecting several offensive and defensive attributes.

Supplemental Information

Supplemental Information edit

Players can apply for Auto Groups for up to three Instanced Dungeons at the same time. To apply for another, players must drop the queue for one of the previously selected instances.

When a player dies in an Auto Group, they are resurrected at the entrance of the Instanced Dungeon.

Leaving the Instanced Dungeon will cause the Victory's Pledge buff to disappear.

Leaving an Auto Group automatically removes the player from the Instanced Dungeon.

In an Auto Group, the ability to invite or remove players is limited.
