In just the past year, thousands have risen to the ranks of Daevas, joining the fight against their sworn enemies and the Balaur. Whether a stroke of luck or a call to arms from Aion, never in Atreia's history have so many ascended in such a short period of time.

This mass ascension has also triggered a shift in the Aether currents, causing Aether to crystallize and form Ascension Energy. During this shift in the Aether, which revelers have dubbed the “Ascension Festival,” Daevas will accumulate Ascension Energy in their cubes while adventuring throughout Atreia.

Celebrate Aion's 2nd Anniversary with the Ascension Festival! During the Ascension Festival, players accumulate Ascension Energy while logged in Aion, much like Scorching Heat during the Summer Event. Ascension Energy can be traded to Gift Traders in Sanctum and Pandaemonium for exciting rewards, including spirit hats, weapon skins, festive outfits, and other fun prizes.

The Ascension Festival runs from September 21st, 2011 to October 26th, 2011.

Take the crystallized Ascension Energy to a Gift Trader in Sanctum or Pandaemonium to exchange it for a number of exciting items!

There are no requirements to participate in the Ascension Festival, just log-in and have fun! Players will find a handful of NPCs throughout Atreia who offer Quests for the Ascension Festival. However, these Quests are designed to point the player to Sanctum or Pandaemonium, where the Gift Traders are located, and do not offer additional rewards.

Because Gift Traders are located in Sanctum and Pandaemonium, a player must be at least level 10 to trade Ascension Energy for rewards. However, characters below level 10 will still accumulate Ascension Energy.

**Note that the Quests above are marked as level 99, however, the Quests can be accepted and completed by characters of any level.

When can I collect Ascension Energy?

Ascension Energy can be collected following the scheduled maintenance on 09/21/11 (Wednesday) until the beginning of scheduled maintenance on 10/26/11 (Wednesday).

Can I buy, sell, trade, or exchange Ascension Energy?

No, Ascension Energy is untradeable, unsellable, and unable to be stored in the Account or Legion Warehouse.

Is the time spent in game cumulative between characters?

No, Ascension Energy is only accumulated by the character that is logged in to Aion. For example, if Character A and Character B are on the same account, and Character A is logged in for 30 minutes, and Character B is logged in for 10 minutes, Character A will receive 1 Ascension Energy, Character B will receive none.

Is the time spent in game cumulative on the same character?

Yes, the connection time is cumulative for the same character. For example, if Character A is logged in for 30 minutes, disconnects, reconnects later, and remains logged in for another 10 minutes, Character A will receive 2 Ascension Energy in that period of time (30+10=40 minutes).

Can I receive Ascension Energy if my Cube is full?

Yes, even if a character's Cube is full, Ascension Energy will accumulate in the Cube's overflow slot.

Can I buy, sell, trade, or exchange gift boxes?

No, the [Event] Gift for a Daeva and [Event] Blessed Gift for a Daeva are untradeable, unsellable, and unable to be stored in the Account or Legion Warehouses.

Are there restrictions on the armor, accessory, or weapon skins from this event?

Yes, all skins can only be used to re-skin one item. The two-handed weapon skins, alone, cannot be used for Armsfusion with another weapon. However, a two-handed weapon that has been re-skinned with a two-handed weapon skin can be used for Armsfusion.

The Gift Traders for the Ascension Festival are Gracia, who can be found in Sanctum, and Emma, who can be found in Pandaemonium. Gracia and Emma will exchange the following items for tokens:
