Pazuzu’s Treasure Box contains a rare Quest item!

The main Quests for the Abyssal Splinter allow players to acquire Fabled armor upon completion. These Quests can be obtained at Teminon Landing and Primum Landing. In addition, Quests to obtain Platinum Medals can be obtained from the NPC outside of the Abyssal Splinter entrance.

Laum of Teminon Fortress

 

Darkhum of Primum Fortress

 

Elyos and Asmodian players can acquire Quests that will reward Fabled armor upon a series of successful completions. These Quests tend to involve killing a number of monsters in the Abyssal Splinter.

 

The Fallen Shugo needs help!

 

Players interested in Ancient Relics can acquire a Quest to rescue a Shugo inside the Abyssal Splinter. Once completed, players will receive a bag containing a random Ancient Relic.

 

Elyos and Asmodian players will have the opportunity to acquire a unique Quest tied to the storyline of Aion once Dayshade has been defeated.

 

Elyos players can inspect the Spear of Akarios

in the Crystal Mezzanine to receive a Quest

Asmodian players can inspect the Worn Book

in the Crystal Mezzanine to receive a Quest

Abyssal Splinter Portal

The Abyssal Splinter is a new Instanced Dungeon located in the Divine Fortress, and is also the first Instanced Dungeon designed for an Alliance of players, rather than a standard Group.

Entering the Abyssal Splinter

In order to access the Abyssal Splinter, players will need to be in an Alliance, and that player’s race will need to have control of the Divine Fortress. The Abyssal Splinter portal is located in the Artifact room.

Abyssal Splinter Walkthrough

On the path to the final Named Monster of the Abyssal Splinter, Yamennes, players will encounter three other Named Monsters: Pazuzu the Life Current, Kaluva the Fourth Fragment, and Dayshade.

Abyssal Splinter Named Monsters

Terrifying Aether creatures that have survived alone in the void for centuries; the monsters in the Abyssal Splinter are enough to scare the fur off an Asmodian’s back!

Abyssal Splinter Loot

Unlike most Instanced Dungeons, the loot in the Abyssal Splinter comes entirely from treasure boxes which spawn when a Named Monster is defeated.
