Tired of seeing that stack of lower level Abyss relics in your inventory? Know that it will be a monotonous process clicking and giving a single relic to the appropriate administrator? Well no longer will you have to sit there and click for 30 minutes! Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces new relic custodians. These custodians collect Abyss relics in bundles of 10.


The custodians are found in the Inggison Illusion Fortress and Gelkmaros Fortress, and offer the standard turn-in rate for many Abyss relics (ie. 10 Major Icons will yield 12,000 AP). Goblets and Crowns, however, also receive the standard rate, not the Abyss Core rate.

     Two new skills (one Skillbook and one Stigma) have been added for each class in Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling, in addition, numerous tweaks have been made to existing skills.

 

2.5 Motion Manuals

     2.5 introduces Motion Manuals, which allow players to change their character's animations including attack, move, and rest!

 

2.5 Character Customization

     Numerous new character customization features have been added in Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling, including more preset faces and body types, and the addition of facial expressions.

     Players can earn exciting and unique costumes by participating in the Empyrean Crucible.

 

2.5 Designer Costumes

     The vendors at the Galleria of Grandeur and Vanahal Boutique have new stock; stylish new costumes await! In addition, players now have the option to purchase gift-wrapped costumes!

 

Conditioning Guide

     Weapons and Armor from the Empyrean Crucible can be imbued with divine power through Conditioning, which grants items temporary bonus attributes!

 

2.5 Fine Designs

     Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces a multitude of Fine Designs, which can be used to craft the greater output of standard and Balic items at a 100% success rate!

Pets

2.5 Pet Changes 

     Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces a number of welcome changes to the Pet System, including the addition of Pet Moods, which allows players to interact with their adorable pets and earn rewards, and two new pet types: the Buff Pet, and the Loot Pet.

Quests

 Mentor System

     Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces the Mentor system. This new system is anchored by Daily Quest Factions which reward high level players for assisting low level players with Quests, Instanced Dungeons, and other objectives.

 

Asmodian

     The Circle

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players level 40 and above. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentors and completing objectives with mentees.

 

     Marchutan Priory

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players levels 10-39. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentees and completing objectives with mentors.

 

Elyos

     Orichalcum Key

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players level 40 and above. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentors and completing objectives with mentees.

 

     Kaisinel Academy

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players levels 10-39. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentees and completing objectives with mentors.
