In Empyrean Calling each class received two new skills; one from a Skillbook and one from a Stigma. The Skillbook can be bought from the level appropriate Skillbook vendor and the Stigma stone can be purchased from the Stigma Tuners; Vergelmir in Pandaemonium or Clymene in Sanctum. There is also a chance players can find these items as world drops from level appropriate monsters! 
 

General Skill Changes


 If stunned while casting a skill, the problem preventing "Remove Shock I" from being activated has been corrected.
 When changing targets during a skill chain, the problem of the skill not chaining has been corrected.

 The maximum amount of debuffs that can be applied to a target has been expanded.
 Block is now used up before Parry.

New Skills by Class

2.5 Templar Skills

A new area of effect taunt as well as a long range attack are included in the new 2.5 update!

2.5 Gladiator Skills

A long range jumping strike and an area of effect drain skill have been added to the Gladiator's arsenal!

2.5 Chanter Skills

Added to the Chanter's already impressive set of skills are a new ranged attack and a parry skill.

2.5 Cleric Skills

Clerics acquire a new way to boost the effectiveness of their healing power and a new magical ranged attack, making them a force to be reckoned with.

2.5 Assassin Skills

Added another attack for the Assassin that makes them even more difficult to immobilize; Assassins gain an edge in 2.5!

2.5 Ranger Skills

A new quick use skill is now available for the Ranger, as well as a skill that allows them to replenish their "DPS juice" (Mana Points)!

2.5 Sorcerer Skills

Added a drain and an area of effect skill to the Sorcerer's already impressive repertoire; 2.5 will delight Sorcerers throughout Atreia!

2.5 Spiritmaster Skills

Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling equips Spiritmasters with a new spell and a new support ability! 

New Custom Skills

By completing the 7th Stage in the new Empyrean Crucible Instanced Dungeon; an Ornate Chest will spawn. This chest has the small chance to drop one of a few new Custom Skillbooks. These Custom Skillbooks are alternative animations to current skills, and will share the same cooldown, cost, and effect as the skill being replaced.

 

For example, the new skill Sleep: Scarecrow I takes the place of the Sorcerer's skill Sleep I. Both skills share the same cooldown, and cost 110 MP. Both skills have a cast time of two seconds and increase the target's elemental defenses. The sole difference is that Sleep: Scarecrow I will transform the target into a training dummy, instead of just putting them to sleep.

 

There are four new custom skills, including Sleep : Scarecrow I.

     The vendors at the Galleria of Grandeur and Vanahal Boutique have new stock; stylish new costumes await! In addition, players now have the option to purchase gift-wrapped costumes!

 

Conditioning Guide

     Weapons and Armor from the Empyrean Crucible can be imbued with divine power through Conditioning, which grants items temporary bonus attributes!

 

2.5 Fine Designs

     Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces a multitude of Fine Designs, which can be used to craft the greater output of standard and Balic items at a 100% success rate!

2.5 Pet Changes 

     Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces a number of welcome changes to the Pet System, including the addition of Pet Moods, which allows players to interact with their adorable pets and earn rewards, and two new pet types: the Buff Pet, and the Loot Pet.

 Mentor System

     Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces the Mentor system. This new system is anchored by Daily Quest Factions which reward high level players for assisting low level players with Quests, Instanced Dungeons, and other objectives.

 

Asmodian

     The Circle

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players level 40 and above. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentors and completing objectives with mentees.

 

     Marchutan Priory

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players levels 10-39. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentees and completing objectives with mentors.

 

Elyos

     Orichalcum Key

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players level 40 and above. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentors and completing objectives with mentees.
