2.5 Motion Manuals 2.5 Motion Manuals Edit

2.5 introduced the ability for players to customize their character's animations in the form of Motion Change Manuals. These manuals allow players to customize their default running, idle, jump, and rest animations.


In the Profile menu (P), players will find a new tab titled “Motions”. In this tab, all of the animations currently available will be listed. Players can mix and match different animations to customize a unique range of motions for their character.

After using a Motion Manual, the new set of animations will appear in the Motion tab. The current or active animation is indicated by a (*) next to the name. 


 

 

 

Currently, there are only two Motions Change Manuals available for purchase; Ninja and Levitation. These can be purchased in both Sanctum and Pandaemonium from the Preceptor of Emoting.


Elyos players can look for Andreas, the Preceptor of Emoting, at Sanctum's Outer Dock, just outside the Dionysia Tavern. Asmodian players can find Seriphim in Pandaemonium's Apellbine Tavern.


Be aware, these Motion Change Manuals don't come cheap, as each manual runs about 16,000,000 Kinah! But the thrill of customizing animations and the promise of more Motion Change Manuals to come will lure many players to hand over their hard earned Kinah.

**Note that there are slight differences between male and female animations. Players will also note slight differences in animation depending on the type of weapon(s) their character is wielding.

Empyrean Crucible Costumes

     Players can earn exciting and unique costumes by participating in the Empyrean Crucible.

 

2.5 Designer Costumes

     The vendors at the Galleria of Grandeur and Vanahal Boutique have new stock; stylish new costumes await! In addition, players now have the option to purchase gift-wrapped costumes!

 

Conditioning Guide

     Weapons and Armor from the Empyrean Crucible can be imbued with divine power through Conditioning, which grants items temporary bonus attributes!

 

2.5 Fine Designs

     Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces a multitude of Fine Designs, which can be used to craft the greater output of standard and Balic items at a 100% success rate!

2.5 Pet Changes 

     Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces a number of welcome changes to the Pet System, including the addition of Pet Moods, which allows players to interact with their adorable pets and earn rewards, and two new pet types: the Buff Pet, and the Loot Pet.

Quests

 Mentor System

     Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces the Mentor system. This new system is anchored by Daily Quest Factions which reward high level players for assisting low level players with Quests, Instanced Dungeons, and other objectives.

 

Asmodian

     The Circle

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players level 40 and above. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentors and completing objectives with mentees.

 

     Marchutan Priory

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players levels 10-39. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentees and completing objectives with mentors.

 

Elyos

     Orichalcum Key

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players level 40 and above. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentors and completing objectives with mentees.

 

     Kaisinel Academy

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players levels 10-39. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentees and completing objectives with mentors.

     Players can now trade in bundles of Abyss relics in Gelkmaros and Inggison.
