With the expanding population the growth of legions was sure to come; and in 2.5 it is here! Legions have several new features available to them spanning all throughout the legion mechanics. From new ranks and permissions to new legion clothing, there are many more things to discover!

 

 

Some of the changes include the new design for the legion cloak. Now longer and displaying the legion emblem in a more predominant fashion, it is a welcome change from the shorter cape to a longer and more flowing cloak. There are also a variety of new legion emblems available.

 

       

There are also is a reworked permissions and positions system. There are now two new positions within a legion; the Deputy and the Volunteer. The Deputy, by default, has more permission in the legion than the previous rank of a Centurion; though the Centurion position can have all the same permissions as a Deputy if the Brigade General Edits the permissions.  The Volunteer can be looked at like a trail member for a legion. Not quite a Legionary but can have the same permissions as one if the Brigade General wishes.
 

 

The permissions system has split the Warehouse permissions from access to the Legion Warehouse being only 1 permission, to it being separated into permissions for withdrawing and depositing. A Deputy could withdraw and deposit items while a legionary would only be able to see what was in the Warehouse and deposit items in the Legion Warehouse.

  

There are also a few new items available for new, higher level legions. At level 4 you have the option to purchase a new Legion Hat and Uniform. At level 5 all legionaries have the option to purchase the Elite Legion Uniform.

     2.5 introduces Motion Manuals, which allow players to change their character's animations including attack, move, and rest!

 

2.5 Character Customization

     Numerous new character customization features have been added in Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling, including more preset faces and body types, and the addition of facial expressions.

Empyrean Crucible Costumes

     Players can earn exciting and unique costumes by participating in the Empyrean Crucible.

 

2.5 Designer Costumes

     The vendors at the Galleria of Grandeur and Vanahal Boutique have new stock; stylish new costumes await! In addition, players now have the option to purchase gift-wrapped costumes!

 

Conditioning Guide

     Weapons and Armor from the Empyrean Crucible can be imbued with divine power through Conditioning, which grants items temporary bonus attributes!

 

2.5 Fine Designs

     Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces a multitude of Fine Designs, which can be used to craft the greater output of standard and Balic items at a 100% success rate!

Pets

2.5 Pet Changes 

     Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces a number of welcome changes to the Pet System, including the addition of Pet Moods, which allows players to interact with their adorable pets and earn rewards, and two new pet types: the Buff Pet, and the Loot Pet.

Quests

 Mentor System

     Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces the Mentor system. This new system is anchored by Daily Quest Factions which reward high level players for assisting low level players with Quests, Instanced Dungeons, and other objectives.

 

Asmodian

     The Circle

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players level 40 and above. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentors and completing objectives with mentees.

 

     Marchutan Priory

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players levels 10-39. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentees and completing objectives with mentors.

 

Elyos

     Orichalcum Key

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players level 40 and above. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentors and completing objectives with mentees.

 

     Kaisinel Academy

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players levels 10-39. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentees and completing objectives with mentors.
