Instances

Empyrean Crucible Walkthrough

     A deadly gauntlet filled with some of Atreia's most infamous monsters, the Empyrean Crucible also boasts new weapons, armor, accessories, pets, and costumes!

Esoterrace Walkthrough

     A secret Balaur research facility nestled in the wilds of Balaurea, the Esoterrace boasts ferocious new foes and fun opportunities to earn Abyss relics and other rewards.

Character

2.5 Skills and Skill Updates

     Two new skills (one Skillbook and one Stigma) have been added for each class in Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling, in addition, numerous tweaks have been made to existing skills.

2.5 Motion Manuals

     2.5 introduces Motion Manuals, which allow players to change their character's animations including attack, move, and rest!

2.5 Character Customization

     Numerous new character customization features have been added in Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling, including more preset faces and body types, and the addition of facial expressions.

2.5 introduces numerous Eternal grade weapons, armor, and accessories, including:

Empyrean Crucible Costumes

     Players can earn exciting and unique costumes by participating in the Empyrean Crucible.

2.5 Designer Costumes

     The vendors at the Galleria of Grandeur and Vanahal Boutique have new stock; stylish new costumes await! In addition, players now have the option to purchase gift-wrapped costumes!

Conditioning Guide

     Weapons and Armor from the Empyrean Crucible can be imbued with divine power through Conditioning, which grants items temporary bonus attributes!

     Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces a multitude of Fine Designs, which can be used to craft the greater output of standard and Balic items at a 100% success rate!

Pets

2.5 Pet Changes 

     Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces a number of welcome changes to the Pet System, including the addition of Pet Moods, which allows players to interact with their adorable pets and earn rewards, and two new pet types: the Buff Pet, and the Loot Pet.

Quests

     Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling introduces the Mentor system. This new system is anchored by Daily Quest Factions which reward high level players for assisting low level players with Quests, Instanced Dungeons, and other objectives.

Asmodian

     The Circle

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players level 40 and above. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentors and completing objectives with mentees.

     Marchutan Priory

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players levels 10-39. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentees and completing objectives with mentors.

Elyos

     Orichalcum Key

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players level 40 and above. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentors and completing objectives with mentees.

     Kaisinel Academy

     This new Daily Quest Faction is available to players levels 10-39. Daily and Weekly Quests reward members for becoming mentees and completing objectives with mentors.

Numerous changes streamline Aion's UI and add a number of welcome features.

Energy of Repose and Energy of Salvation

     Energy of Repose and Energy of Salvation now also increase item drop rates by 5%!

2.5 Legion Update

     New legion features include increased legion level, more warehouse space, increased legion members, and new legion uniforms, hats, and cloaks!

Abyss Relic Bundles

     Players can now trade in bundles of Abyss relics in Gelkmaros and Inggison.
